Coconut milk is used here to enrich and flavour the dish.It is mild and tasty and makes a wonderful quick tiffin.
rava / sooji - 1 cup
chopped onion - medium size -1
chopped tomato - medium size - 1
slitted green chilli - 2-3
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
garam masala - 1/4 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
chilli powder - 1/4 tsp (optional)
oil - 2 tbsp
ghee -1+ 1 tsp
mustard & urad dal - 1 tsp
channa dal - 1 tsp
curry leaves and coriander leaves - few
coconut milk - 1 cup + Water 1 and 1/2 cup
salt - to taste.
Steps to follow:
Roast the rava in a medium flame with 1 tsp ghee until the roasted aroma comes.Keep aside.
